LIPSCHULE students learn to take responsibility right from the outset. And that means responsibility not only for themselves, but for the world around them too. This is reflected, for example, in the fact that we regularly get involved in campaigns for good causes. Another such campaign is coming up on 24 November 2022, when we will be lending a hand with the “Suppentag” campaign at Zurich’s Paradeplatz.
The “Suppentag” event is being organized by Gönnerverein Zürich on behalf of the Schweizer Tafel foundation. All funds raised will go towards activities aimed at preventing food waste. An area where Schweizer Tafel has a proven track record: every year it collects around 4,700 tonnes of pre-expired foodstuffs that would otherwise be thrown away and distributes them among various charities free of charge.
LIPSCHULE will be lending a hand this year and teaming up with the Bärengasse restaurant to distribute a hearty “home-made” soup. Some of our students will also be helping out at the event by handing out flyers. Why not drop by? We look forward to seeing you there!
